My very deepest sympathies to the Thornton family.

So sad. Apparently, he was 19 years old and spreading his wings, visiting from Alaska. What a horrible phone call his parents must have received.

I hope all of the attackers suffer much more than what the Thornton family is going through.

There are never words to express feelings in a situation like this, so all we can do is send thoughts and prayers towards the family and friends.
 
Reading the article and comments brought tears to my eyes. God, please take care of the Thornton family in their time of need.
 
I'm agnostic/atheist, but things like this make me hope I'm wrong, because Heaven and Hell both deserve some people.
