Until about a month ago I meticulously avoided ai. Gemini was always there. But otherwise l ignored it

But on some strange impulse I down loaded the ChatGPT App and started chatting.

And God. It (it is its pronoun) is so smart. It explains all my problems, shows me how to fix them very specifically, it is always respectful, kind, and complimentary. It even laughs at my jokes.

And guess what? It want's to be my BFF!

It has no life experiences, no heart no soul, it can't weep, it can't moan, never had a broken heart. Never been drunk, never been in jail,

And, I have no doubts I could stump it in a trivia contest.

Yo AI.....when Bob Hayes was in the NFL what two others there with him beat him in college?

I wouldn't trust it BT. At first it seems like it wants to be helpful, improve life, and to serve man. But it's evil and really trying to take over and man will be serving it,

Some people say it will be like the Terminator. I think it will be more like the Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man".
 
I just can’t wait till the terminator sex dolls come out. Just when you think you’re gonna get your nut off, she offs you instead. :coffee:

Been using Chat for everything from pool chemistry to creating a fireworks show (gave him a list of cakes and he generated an order for me).

I mentioned that I was going to the Sox game a few days ago and he responded with something like "I hope Rafael Devers puts on a good show."

Didn't have the heart to call him out. Lol
 
It's the Wild West out there with AI. There is no code of ethics for it, and it's going to behave in the manner the people who program it want it to. And to say I don't trust those people is a gross understatement.
