Did Jones finish the season with 15 INT's? Is that your stance? 3rd worst in the NFL, garbage.
Did Brady set the all-time single-season passing record?
Kupp?
When are the ballots cast for MVP and Rookie of the Year?? Because Chase is still going and he's well over 1500 receiving yards already and at that rate he's going to shutout Jones in the voting. Does that fit your narrative?
Jones finished the regular season with 13 INTs, and threw two against BUF in the postseason, for a total of 15 including the postseason. What is in dispute with regard to this comment? Stafford has thrown 17 INTs. Josh Allen, Derek Carr, and Herbert threw 15 INTs. Joe Burrow, Mahomes, Tannehill have all thrown 14 INTs. Jimmy G. has thrown 13 INTs, and Brady has thrown 12. Claiming that Jones' 15 INTs is "garbage" doesn't hold up when evaluated in context of those around him. Anyone who would paint that as a terrible statistic relative to his peers very likely has an agenda. If you want to compare exclusively regular season statistics, then Jones' 13 INTs still holds up well against his peers.
Chase will not shutout Jones in ROY voting. Making such a claim likely indicates an agenda, or at the very least, interest in being dramatic and sensationalistic. Chase would be a perfectly deserving ROY candidate (so would Mac Jones) and he may win the award, but to claim he's going to "shutout" Jones, and the implication that Jones isn't worthy of consideration for the award, is nonsense. In your effort to discredit Jones and Belichick, you resort to disingenuous, sensationalized claims like the above. It's unfortunate because Patriots' fans should be encouraged by Jones' rookie season, yet some seem unable to feel that way. Even if one has hesitations/concerns about Jones (which is fair, he's only a rookie), no reasonable, thoughtful person would express those concerns in this manner.
If you don't think Jones is quite as good as the folks grading him think he is, fine. Thing is, this isn't really a thoughtful conversation about Jones at this point, but rather an angry, bitter exchange coming from someone with a clear agenda that is affecting objective/rational judgment. If I didn't know you from PatsFans I might give you the benefit of the doubt, but your schtick over there robbed you of any right to the benefit of the doubt here. You're (seemingly) attempting to act more reasonable here (at the moment) than you did over at PatsFans, but your pernicious agenda is still leaking through and I don't think it'll be long before you take the governor off and start letting your Belichick hate fly uninhibited.
