Here's one from Canada a couple years ago. Even though it was mid July, it was spitting snow the entire afternoon I was up there on this mountain. Just an absolulty gorgeous area.

The water with that glacial silt runoff color is gorgeous. The large barren area on the opposite side was the result of a massive avalanche some 15-20 years ago.

They were telling us it was so loud the concussion wave of sound shattered many of the hotel windows on the other side of the lake.

Dee I have a Sony 100-400MM f/4.5-6 and I use it with a 1.4 extender - lots of zoom versatility.

AOT, not really, primarily an intense amateur, and I have belonged to a couple photo clubs. I have written a few articles for Nature Photographer magazine. All in all, it's a joy.
