Maybe that's a good thing. I won't feel so disappointed if he bust or I'll be totally awestruck if he turns a out to be a top tier NFL QB, as he should be.

in my case (where I said ask me in 2 or 3 years) I didn't want to make it so Drake had to be great day 1 with a crap ass roster.
it's year 2 for him and with vrabel and improvements underway in players I think I'm on target on the short end (Which is good)
now lets see how things go as I fear Pats will have a classic let-down game against Saints and either lose or it'll be closer then it should

As of October 7, 2025, Drake Maye's overall win-loss record as a starting quarterback is 6-11. This combines his records from the 2024 and 2025 NFL seasons. I hope he's going net positive this season!
His season-by-season breakdown as a starter is:
  • 2024 season: 3-9.
  • 2025 season: 3-2.

Yeah but Mac may be showing he was pretty good and the matt patricia as OC was even more disastrous then we thought
