Are you happy with the Drake Maye pick?

Marcus Jones should be the first Patriot defender named to the PB. Gonzo has been good, not great. Marcus Jones has been "All Pro Great" this season.

I just heard Al Breer explain that nickel and slot CBs are judged right along with outside CBs. They don't have their own category, so that explains it.

How lucky is this team that after the Mac Jones situation that we were able to get a 2nd chance at a high draft pick and grab Maye?

How lucky were we after the mistake of Mayo that Vrabel was still available to come in here as HC? RKK is one lucky guy.
He had his rabbit's foot rubbed... :coffee:

I hope they hang 50 on the phins and get Maye the MVP. You don’t have a chance at something like that but once or twice in even a hall of fame level career.
Stafford should not get it. The rams didn’t even win their division.
F*** the strength of schedule people. You remove Maye from the equation and the Pats are not even sniffing the playoffs.

I can’t dismiss the Rams schedule and Stafford has 40 TD’s with two still left to play. Unless he craps himself in a way that would make Greg Norman blush, Stafford will be MVP.

I think most numbers except the pure counting stats favor Maye between the two. And the Patriots schedule is what it is, but they have played a strong schedule when you're looking at opposing defenses, which is what is relevant in this discussion.

I have no problem with it going to Stafford, and tbh you could probably argue for Lawrence and Purdy as well. In a very close case, I think it's Maye.

Stafford will almost certainly win it. And I'm fine with that.

If you put Stafford on the Pats he’d have been injured by September.
Even if he’d been healthy……. Stafford has sucked throwing to bad WRs. He would not be doing what Maye has done with this group and the Bills would have won the division.

3 picks for Stafford and loss to the Falcons last night!!!
He does not deserve MVP after that loss and performance.
