Blink182 are much more than that, Green day are pretty much in the same league as them and they are regarded as one of the best punk rock bands...

I know there are alot of Foo lovers out there I am not their biggest fan but I do like them enough. I just think Tool is much better But that is why we all have our different opinions

First off, Green Day is not punk. Don't let the haircuts fool you. I know they play alot of barre cords, but they are not punk. Pennywise is punk. Bad Religeon is punk. Green Day is not punk.

Secondly, Blink 182 writes poppy, commerical friendly songs about highschool romance. It's cotton candy music that sells well to teenagers.

Tool is on an entirely differant level both musically and intellectually.

To compare the two is musical blasphemy.

Tool is my favorite band. Absolutely awesome and should make it through. They were a staple of the '90's with Sober and Prison Sex (to name just two).

Foo Fighters is an after effect of Nirvana, so... that should be cancelled out.

Tool IS good, but, not nearly as good as King Crimson (older band).
