Leafs fans were throwing Mathew's jerseys on the ice in disgust. He hasn't scored a goal since the first round. If they were playing anybody else than the panthers. I would be enjoying the hell out of it.
 
Leaf's are cooked, they will not beat Florida on their home ice, Marchie's moving on to round 3 and the B's get a 1st round pick in '27 or '28.
 
Panthers let that one get away, Laffs were scrambling around in the 2nd but Florida couldn’t score then Bob lets in a soft goal in the 3rd. Their pp reminded me of the Bruins which was basically non existent. 1 game for all the marvels on Monday, can they get it done, I certainly hope so.

That's similar to what they used to say about the bruins playing Montreal in the playoffs. Eventually it changes. This could be the leaf's year. To finally win a game seven. They have lost six games sevens in a row. All streaks. Good and bad. Come to an end. Go leafs go. Go leafs go. Go leafs go. f the panthers. They treat the bruins like their farm team. They have 5 or 6 former bruins on the roster. It's embarrassing. If the leafs lose. Ill become a temporary hurricanes fan.

Same. I hate Florida more than Toronto at this point but Florida might suck in two-ish years when they are aging and in cap hell. Having their 1st round pick as they begin their decline sure would be nice.

lol that makes too much sense. If Sweeney is still making the picks. It won't matter where the pick is. his best draft picks since 2015. Are mcavoy and swaywomen. If there is a way to screw it up. He will find it.

Oh believe me, I know. Part of the wish for that future pick is hoping he will have been relieved of his duties by then. I was joking with a friend the other day that I fully expect the Malcolm Subban-equivalent if a player if Sweeney is involved in that pick.
