Boston Bruins hockey

Two teams I hope the bruins avoid in the playoffs. The redwings. And the hurricanes.

It bewilders me that the Bruins play like they have zero interest in winning a hockey game for the first 2 periods, then turn it on in the 3rd. If they played the entire game the way they played the 3rd they would have blown them out of the building.

Bruins with a much needed rest and reset and finished the week off with a nice romp over Philly. As for the Canes, I don’t fear them like I have the past few seasons, this is a much different team and the rookies are doing a good job of filling some big shoes.

The Canes have had me concerned for years. Them and the Lightning. They always seem to match up well with the Bruins.
The Cains are 5 0 2 vs the bruins the last seven games. They are a major concern. At least they won't face them in the 1st rd. I'm not concerned with Tampa like I used to be. They are still good. But aren't the team they were. DET concerns me. If the season ended today. They would play the bruins in the 1st rd. they have always given the bruins fits. For a long time. Especially in DET.

Imagine your 12 years old and a total Bruins fan as only a 12-year-old can be. You got tickets to a game for your birthday. That game was last night.
I got that beat. I got that beat.

Christmas 2021 my son got 3 tickets from Santa. The game was against the Canadiens in March. We showed up to the game, no fans to be seen. Ask a security guard what the Hell is going on tonight. He says, "We don't have any events scheduled for tonight. :wtf:

The game had been swapped back in early January due to a Covid outbreak in Canada. The January game was supposed to be played in Montreal, but they switched to Boston. Our game was swapped along with it.

My son cried. Cried HARD. I bought tickets to their next game (vs Tampa, Pasta got a hatty) as soon as we got home.

TicketMaster wouldn't refund me because they say they sent an email (I never saw it) and they don't refund for incidents involving Covid. :4321:

now, this kid will be rehabbing all summer. Instead of working out. he needs to bulk up. Or his career will be disappointing.

DAMN!! That sucks.

Bring back Beecher or McLaughlin to fill his spot, one of these guys is going to need to get some more time in the NHL before the playoffs start. Big game tonight, hopefully they play better than they did on Tuesday.

I can't remember the last time the bruins got booed at home. What a shitty performance that was today. I wish I could get the time back I wasted watching it.

Agreed. As previously discussed, he is only 19, I don't know what he weighs but he's built for speed and not the big league grind. I'm guessing the training staff has big plans for him in the weight room. And someone get the kid a sandwich. That being said the kid has really fast hands and is cut from the Sergei Samonsov mold.
