Boston Bruins hockey

2 years in a row that they lost at home to the Caps, what a soulless effort and to get shutout is just embarrassing especially on home ice.

What is the deal with pasta in shootouts? Anybody? His approach is so overly casual. It drives me nuts.

Honestly, I think he has to go into the shootout with a plan, not just freelance and "make it up as you go". He's got the talent to do anything, but he seems to wait too long to decide what to do.

That's just his style, he's got a pretty nice wrist shot that's hard to read for the goalie plus I think if he gets in too much of a hurry he usually ends up losing control of the puck which is why he's so casual with the puck in a SO.

He should approach the shoot out. Like he does a breakaway in the game. I agree, he has no plan whatsoever.

With all his skill. And talent. He should be a lot better at shootouts. Whatever he's doing now. isn't working.

No doubt he is a talented and skilled player but have you watched him trying to take the puck into the offensive zone by himself, most of the time he loses it and it ends up going the other way.

I agree 100 percent. He has holes in his game, for sure. He never seems to be in the best shape. There are a lot of plays that he looks like he's out of gas. And he wears down in the playoffs.

Nothing builds confidence. And character. Like a late come from behind win. They really needed it.
