Broncos Trade For SF TE Vernon Davis

Meh, doesn't matter. Nothing will help Manning.

For all the ball washing yesterday the pathetic Packer defense, he still did not throw a TD>.

I think Davis is washed up but I guess we will see. He is 31 and Manning is not slinging it like he used to. Still, they got him for nothing so good for them.

Less than 60% of Manning's targets are going to TEs now. 2 yrs ago he threw 70%+ to TEs. Davis will provide him with another big target.

Davis isn't washed up. He had Colon Kraperdick as his QB.

Davis won't like that offense, with Peyton at the helm he'll never seen the ball.

Hoping BB pulls the trigger on a DB to help out Butler.

Elway trying to keep up with the Joneses. Patriotses? Whatevs.

I think this trade is a signal that Denver is going back more toward Manning's offense than Kubes. Losing JT was huge for them. I am surprised Elway did not pull this trade sooner in the season or before the bye even.

Denver is undefeated and the longer Elway waited, the lower the price tag for Davis was.

Also, on the BB trade front, anyone else hear rumblings about a trade with KC for Sean Smith? Also would be a cheap trade.

He's really missing Harbaugh. He may have been a jerk, but he knew how to coach (unlike the staff they have now).
