I tried a search but couldn't find one (merge if there is one) but what's on your bucket list ?
I only recently learned of this place but would love to see it.
Salar de Uyuni, located in southwest Bolivia, is often dubbed the “Mirror of the Sky.” It is so boundless and bright white that Neil Armstrong is said to have mistaken it for an enormous glacier seen from space.

Diving in Iceland at the silfra fissure where you can literally go between two continents! On the right the American tectonic plater and the Eurasion one on the left. You can literally touch two continents.

I was heading there but got soroche in Puno, Peru. I missed spending a night on Lake Titicaca and all of Bolivia. This was 2010. I've always traveled with the idea not to stress over missing anything because I'd be back, but this time I might not make it. My bucket list includes a North Africa, a return to Egypt (was there immediately after the riots in 2011, and couldn't get transportation to a lot of places, including two places worth returning for: white desert and St Catherine monastery. From Bolivia, I had intended on traveling overland to Buenos Aires but at 75 and probably 78 or 79 before I could try again, not sure I could handle the modes of transportation required.

My bucket list includes places I've never been: China, Cambodia, Thailand, India, most of eastern Europe, and places I have been: Vietnam, Morocco, Egypt, Baltic countries. I'm not traveling overseas yet, so I'm unlikely to make them all.

Right now I'm focusing on themed road trips to stay in USA starting 2023. Rte 66, Mssissippi River Road, US 6, Pacific Coast highway, US 90, US 2, US 30, God, so many off-interstate road trips. I'll never live long enough.

If you love food and you've never been, you have to go to Japan. The most amazing food I've ever had is there. There are 200+ Michelin star restaurants in Tokyo alone, Paris has 70.

Every restaurant you go to is top drawer and it's all fresh and cooked in front of you. The beef is sublime as is the fish and of course, the Sushi is out of this world.

# 1 for me is a long slow trip of the Mediterranean. From Portugal to Turkey and everything in between including the islands of Sicily, Crete, Malta and the Greek Islands.
It begins next May!
Nice. May will be right before the crazy tourist season as well so should be nice. Malta especially won't be that crowded at that time.

I'm a simple man and don't think too grandly. Well most of the time. I suppose I have two separate lists. One for winning the lottery and the other more realistic. Though the realistic one would still be a part of my journeys with the money.

I want to travel the good ol USA in a 4x4 with an off road trailer with some boondocking features. Canada too. I want to see it all. Except for flying to Hawaii a long time ago, I've never been off the east coast. I want to see everything out west like the rockies, the grand canyon, Yellowstone with my snorkeling gear, the redwoods, etc. And up to everything Alaska has in the summer.

Should I strike it rich, I will still do all of that but in like a Unimog or something and then follow it with sailing much of the world in a solar yacht.

I've often thought , If I had enough money, I'de love to hire a driver and a tour bus for a year and travel the country deciding where I want to build my house.

I'de also make a million dollar offer to mr kraft's favorite charity If I could sit in the draft room on draft day
