I never knew that famous Celtics fan; you remember the 80s guy in the bar saying the Celtics are the balls? Literally the most Boston guy ever, had died. Don Beardsley was his name and his widow gets an enormous kick to see his memory still so cherished by Cletics fans.

Since they have the duck boats, the victory parades should go along the Charles river too. I guess they did that in 2004 for the Red Sox because the crowd was so massive.

He was the leading scorer and rebounder on a Creighton team that went to the Sweet 16. Seems to be a good shooter but I don't know anything about him beyond that.
I was surprised the Celtics didn't try to move on from that pick (as 1st rounders get guaranteed money). I would anticipate he will more of a Maine Celtic than a Boston Celtic for the foreseeable future.
