Celtics

He was the leading scorer and rebounder on a Creighton team that went to the Sweet 16. Seems to be a good shooter but I don't know anything about him beyond that.

I was surprised the Celtics didn't try to move on from that pick (as 1st rounders get guaranteed money). I would anticipate he will more of a Maine Celtic than a Boston Celtic for the foreseeable future.

I dunno. It all depends on his defense. Quite frankly there is usually a couple of SL players that open some eyes. I remember Donovan Mitchell in the '17 SL and he popped. This kid can pass, create his own shot and is decent on defense so it remains to be seen. I never say a player in the 1st round can't contribute to be honest. If its the right player, with the right talent..you never know.

On the bright side. He will be ready come playoff time.
Still concerns me. Teams are getting better, as are the Cs, but man I feel this upcoming season, they need him to be 100 percent healthy for the playoff run. I don't think they win it again like they did this year without him.

Big time shooter, plays no defense.
Basically the Sam Hauser scouting report when he came out. I think Sam has a decision to make about his future.

Yep, that seems to be what he is. I think the C's have a team option for Hauser so ball's in their court.

Baylor is a guard though, I don't think they'll necessarily be competing for minutes. This might be more about giving more rest for guys like White and Jrue, and not having to have 3-4 starters on the court at all times with such a thin bench. I'm guessing he'll take Svi's roster spot, him and Sam are redundant.

I can't wait to see Walsh's progression next year, I really think that kid is going to be good. He shot 36% from 3 at a decent volume in the G league, not bad for a guy that couldn't shoot coming out of college. Very athletic, great energy, good ups and seems to just glide through the air. Only 20 years old though, they might let him bake a little longer in the G league.

Fingers crossed, white signs an extension.
I said this when they gave Jrue the big extension, if it's at the cost of losing White that was a huge mistake. Even if they don't extend him he will qualify for Bird rights after this next season, so no reason to panic yet, I think it will all workout.

Wow! WEEI reporting that the Celtics are up for sale! No more 🦆 🛥️ parades for Wyc and company.

Yep, Cs are up for sale, full transfer of ownership will occur in 2028. So Wyc and the gang are gone after that. Brad could be as well as Mazzulla. Big changes coming to the Cs in a little over 3 years. Porzingas will be gone, Holliday will be gone. White, Tatum and Brown will be left with hopefully some young studs around them.

If john Henry[fenway sports group] buys the team. I'm going to choke on my own puke. And it's a very real possibility.

I certainly hope we all can make it clear to John Henry Fenway sports group that we don’t want them to even enter the building never mind purchase the team…

Curious why you think those 2 could be gone? Just a pure guess or are their examples of recently successful GM/HC's getting fired/leaving after ownership changes?
