Celtics

Curious why you think those 2 could be gone? Just a pure guess or are their examples of recently successful GM/HC's getting fired/leaving after ownership changes?
If it's an outside purchaser, they might not get along with those guys and vice versa. These things are weird though.

It's a pure guess and doomposting.
I said could, not will. Reading is hard for you I see. So, new owners never want a fresh start? Considering the full ownership doesn't take effect until 2028 when Tatum, Brown and White are all thats left unless some of the new guys develop which I think is possible. Shit, new GMs come in and want their own staff, a new owner could come in and do the same.

To say that isn't a possibility is pure head in the sand folly.

It's 50/50. So to say it might happen is also folly. Let's just enjoy the next 3 years. :celtics:

Negative, to say it will is folly. To say it won't is folly. To say it may isn't. Thats just a possibility. Personally, I thing Pags will be part of the new majority ownership or at least I hope so. That being the case, it will be business as usual and thats the best outcome. This team is set for the next 5 years imo to withstand the aging out of a couple guys.

5 years might be a stretch. I think the next 3 is the "window". But I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah for some reason I am thinking these latest picks, might turn into something. If they don't it's 3.

Pretty cool video of Jaylen getting his ring back that he lost during the parade. The dude that is with him is..Jalen Brunson? Didn't see that one coming. Still, very cool video.

Hearing a lot of talk that Celtics want to build their own arena. is that an attempt to get Delaware North/Jacobs to try and by Celtics (or arrange a group to) that would keep them in the Garden? that's a loss for Jacobs and another arena is more competition for concerts, etc.

I don't like that idea at all. Something cool about both teams playing in the same building. My thing would be more concessions from Jacobs maybe. I have zero idea on the financials and how they work at the TD Garden.

I preface by saying I am the absolute worst at judging how good someone is going to be in the NBA, I mean I thought Ron Mercer was going to be a stud, and that year I actually watched a lot of college.....but there's just something about this kid's game that I think is going to translate very well in the NBA. I'm not comparing the 2 of course, but his playstyle is very Luka like. Already finishes well with both hands too, I think that's pretty rare coming out of college for most players. Of course you have to be able to play D to earn minutes on this team.
