Absolute destruction of the "best of the west" last night. It's pretty rare that each team starts to pull starters in the 3rd quarter :ROFLMAO: This does remind me of the '07/'08 team as far as being on a mission.
You know what the shortest list in sports history is? Suns wins vs. the Celtics... :coffee:

I'm 58 and I can count the number of times I've seen it on one hand with fingers left over

Very disappointing game. I can live with the missed open shots, that's just going to happen sometimes, but they were lazy in transition D and they also let GS dictate the pace. Tatum should have felt like he had something to prove tonight too but he looked like the same guy from the Finals, but without a bum shoulder to blame it on. Ah well, learn from it and move on.

Tatum was fucking brutal, I think that led to the bad transition D. I don't think Horford would have made much of a difference, save for Kevan Looney getting eleventybillion rebounds.

When he doesn't shoot well, he needs to contribute in other ways. Instead of checking out. That game was supposed to be a statement game. Instead, it was a reality check.

I like when we're in 100% agreement. He should have really just hovered and let Brown cook in the 2nd half, when it was clear he didn't have it.

Worst game of the year last night, they looked like they were hung over, just zero energy. Brown looked like maybe he was still a little drunk too, he had one of the weirdest and stupidest travels I've every seen in my life. It's good in a way though, they needed to have to deal with some adversity and make Mazzulla have to coach a little.

This team isn't any better than last year's team. They are front runners. That don't handle adversity well. They fooled me.

I watched about 3 minutes of the Warriors game and turned it off. 5 guys standing around waiting to hoist up 3s, no thank you.

They've been frustrating to watch recently. But, I think their personnel is significantly better than last year, with Brogdan, Hauser, Kornet and others being real contributors that weren't part of last year's team. I know this take isn't going to be popular, but here goes: Tatum and Brown are very, very good players. But, they 1) seemingly buy into the idolatry bestowed upon them by Forsberg, Chin and Amina Smith on NBC Sports Boston, 2) too often revert to last year's undisciplined play. Eddie House and, to a somewhat lesser degree, Scalabrine are more unbiased. Tatum and Brown still revert to previous bad habits such as settling for shitty 3 attempts and Brown trying to dribble through clogged lanes and for Brown that's bad because for all of his considerable offensive and defensive skills, he's a horrible dribbler/ballhandler. With that said, I think they have a very real chance to win the championship, but they're far from the perfect team we've been told recently that they are. As usual, just my opinion.

When it matters the most. They pee their pants. Today's game was a perfect example. They can't even in bound the ball successfully. They need ime udokas foot up their ass.

Last year when they got Derick White it seemed like everything clicked and they became a good team. This year I don’t know what happened but they seemed to have flipped a switch and become a bad team.

...and roughly when RW came back.
yes, I was thinking that. doesn't make a lot of sense. the GW game I thought they had just gotten full of themselves but these recent losses at home are kind of bizarre. Maybe having Rob Williams on the court is confusing their sense of scale, which might explain why their shots are falling short.

When the 3 pointers aren't falling. They don't know how to win. They have no mental toughness.
