Change thread view preferences

Ok I'm giving up, I'm totally blind. How do you change the posts per page and whether posts in a thread are sorted by date ascending or descending? I miss having the 100 newest posts in a thread starting at me when clicking on a thread

So..

The posts per page. That was brought up before and I attempted to mod a solution, but it ended up screwing things up. It has something to do with the way Xenforo indexes posts and threads for search engines that it's not easy to change the default. I'm sorry.

I wasn't aware that changing from ascending to descending was even a thing. I looked quickly and didn't see a way to opt for that. I can look into it more, but I suspect it would have the same issues as posts per page.

On the old board, you could click on the counter that showed how many posts were in a thread, and that would display a popup that showed which posters had contributed to the thread and how many posts each poster had made.

Is there any way to get that feature back?
