Thought I'd start this off as the first game is right here in Dublin, the traditional Aer Lingus College Classic.

This year it's Kansas State v Iowa State or 'Farmegeddon' as they call it, or 'Farm O'Gedden' for this game.

25,000 fans have flown over for the game and have been here most of the week, giving a very unique atmosphere to the city. The pep rallies this evening in the centre of the city's Merrion Square, looked great.

Decent game this, a lot of rain today, which has made the handling tricky, but the players have adapted well. 4th Qtr with 6:55 to go and Iowa St lead Kansas St 17-14

Wait, Iowa just scored again! Should be 24-14 shortly. Kansas went for it on 4th down onto their own 30, a crazy call with over 8 mins left and they didn't make it.

Going for it on 5th down is very rare indeed, from any part of the field.

Good to see ISU hold on for the win. How was the crowd? Did one side dominate, or was it pretty evenly split?
Pretty even I'd say. The Cyclones seem to have edged it, maybe slightly. Really huge numbers yet again coming over from the US for this, plus many more Americans from across Europe. It's a really great event, I think it's better than the NFL games oversees as it's a very unique College fan experience. Huge numbers coming over and they make a big trip of it, spending the week, travelling around the country, playing the golf courses etc. The City here goes all in for it, with parties held at the Mayors residence, city parks given over for the pep rallies, the council shuts down streets and designates huge fan zones and allows parades by the bands and fans to march the streets to the stadium.

We will have an NFL game here this season in a few weeks, the Steelers v Packers in the larger Croke Park stadium.

Anyone else think that Texas is going to plummet? I think Archie is ridiculously overrated. Now, that’s only based on what I’ve seen him do in the past.
Georgia will have a big say this year imho. They have the nations no. 1 recruiting class for 2026 anyway.

They'll always be a threat in this current era.

Arch has a lot of pressure on him for sure. I’ll be impressed if he can handle it. I also think he stays in college so any tanking for arch won’t pan out

Welp. Nebraska is going to be just good enough to disappoint again this season.
