College Football 2025 Thread

This Facebook page is hilarious. Not only are their “takes” really bad. They hate any Indiana team since the pacers took the knicks out of the postseason last year. This was their Iu Oregon game prediction.

Predictably this was posted around halftime when they got it wrong.

Some of their other bad takes.

This next one is hilariously bad considering Indiana went to Oregon and beat Oregon by 10 at Oregon in the regular season.

42-7 Hoosier & we still have 8:52 left in the 3rd. Belt to ass
Oregon trying (and failing) to run it up on JMU a couple of weeks ago...

...when the Indiana HC and half the players were there 2 years ago...

Probably not the wisest decision.

That game was supposed to be a showcase for the QB showdown who many were saying would be the first two selections in the draft. Indian's Mendoza, of course, was born in Boston, though he was raised in Miami, so playing in Miami in the final should be no issue for him. If they go on to win the whole thing, he'll likely be a Raider come April. He could be a good one in the NFL.

Having watched both play a few times....

Miami superior team speed
Indiana a more disciplined team
Miami way too many dumb mistakes
Indiana a fine oiled machine
Mendoza the better QB

Indiana 33 Miami 17

Interesting article that says Marc Cuban donated lots of cash to make Indiana the #1 team. NIL money for players but also direct donations to the football program for upgrades.
I really dislike the way NIL has changed college football.

I don't have a dog in that fight.
It's gone from the total sanctimonious NCAA rules that made athletes having to beg for a little spending money, to a free for all. I would like to see the transfer rules tightened up.
All I know is that I still love the game between the white lines.
