College Football 2025 Thread

ND's strength was supposed to be their running game and defense.
They are playing loagey and lazy - like the heat and humidity are getting to them. Also, strange decision not to hand off to one of the best couple RBs in the country for basically the first 3 quarters...

"Loagey" is new to me. Did you mean "logy" or am I not up to speed with modern football terminology?

Logey set off the spell check, so I made sure that the appropriate sounds conveyed. I don't think I've ever seen the word in print.

Only Miami can knock off a top 10 team, and somehow make it possible to seem like they lost, or won't get full marks for that game. Toney and Beck were great, and the pass rush was insane, that's not a slouch of an offensive line Notre Dame has, made them look like the 24 Patriots most of the game.

Probably the most impressive wins of the big games was LSU over Clemson at Clemson.
0hio State, Miami, and FSU all won at home. That is an advantage in college football.
FSU would be #2 impressive win because of their preseason ranking, which I didn't believe anyway.

You're a fan of Miami, right?

I mean they dominated that game, and in 2 months the voters will look at it as a close game.

An effective pass rush late in the game is something Belichick always wanted to have as a cornerstone of his team.

And Miami had that on display last night.

Oh, gotcha. I thought you meant there was some kind of bias against Miami that would come into play. Just a circumstance of the score.
