No. He's old in WR terms, and the dropoff is typically sudden and rapid. I wouldn't pay the contract alone, never mind draft compensation.
 
A second rounder for Kupp is absolutely insane. He is washed.
The rams should be offering a 4th for any team willing to take him on.
It sucks but there are no good top end options at the WR position this offseason.
 
Pretty sure I saw it mentioned on TV that there were no takers for him at the trade deadline last year so I think it's gonna be a hard row to hoe for him.

Good hands, skilled player but too expensive and you get maybe 7-9 games out of him. Rams way overpaid and will have to eat a chunk of that payday to have any hope of moving this guy.

Why are you so opposed to adding wide receivers, considering it has been a major team weakness for years? You mentioned on the draft thread that the Patriots should wait until next year. It's a bad year to need a wide receiver.
Do you expect Maye to perform with the same subpar options from this season?

Maye needs pass catchers, but I’m expecting 4 new additions to the Oline between FA and the draft. That alone will make the current group look better.
Kupp is washed up. Nothing more needs to be said.
Higgens…… I still don’t think he’s a true number one, more of a top notch 1B who you can’t rely on health wise. He’s playing beside Chase who gets lots of attention and is catching passes from Joe Burrow. Not worth what it would take to get him to leave that. The bengals probably missed the playoffs because he was injured to start the season, and on top of that there’s probably a better than 50/50 chance they resign him.
So who’s left? Godwin? He’s probably got a year before he’s back to form after yet another injury. (Yes I know he will be back playing sooner) He’s gonna want big money.
Diggs? No thanks.
I don’t see any WR projected in the first who looks like they would be a better option than one of the Dlineman projected around them. In the flip side, there seems to be a lot of OLine guys worth giving money this year. Great D line options at the top of the draft. If they are willing to trade back, lots of value at Oline at the end of the first and second.
I’m not opposed to pass catchers, but I’m not high on any of the options this year.

With new coaching and a better Oline we can expect better things from the 2nd year guys, and hopefully Boute continues to grow. I’m sure they will add a few guys in FA who are more of a value.

agree with with this. Better O-line and what we have will look better for sure, plus Josh designing the "O" and utilize the RB's and TE(s) and you can have a pretty good attack. I'd love to add an upgrade to WR but not sure any of the above mentioned are worth the money, and if we can use that to build a dominate D and O line I'm sure we'll be happy to watch that version of the Pats.
I'm sure that myself and others will be happy if they signed Tee Higgins and will sing his praises, but we need help everywhere and if the improve all over - mainly O-line - I can live with what we have at WR. Maybe the upgrade for Maye can be another TE, a stronger run game and more dynamic pass catching RB types (nothing against Gibson). hard to judge any of these guys with the swiss cheese O-line to be fair.
