It's hard to keep up with the NFL and all the cases of misconduct.

Here's what I think are the active cases:

Brit Reid - drinking at a team facility in Kansas City
Dan Snyder - sexual harassment at Washington Commanders
Dan Snyder - financial improprieties at Washington Commanders
Brian Flores - Miami Dolphins being ordered to tank by the owner
Alvin Kamara - joined with fellow New Orleans Saints players in an elevator attack and beating in Las Vegas

Am I leaving anything out?

Of course, none of these are nearly as important as a football losing a little bit of air pressure in cold weather.

Deshaun Watson. Even though it's over investigation wise, I think, it still stinks to high heaven.

or "spying"(🙄) by recording something 60+k people sitting in the stadium can also see. it's like punishing one guy out of the 50 present for looking at the girls in a strip club.

The financial impropriety thing with Snyder.

Any more detail on that.

May have missed it.

Snyder was cooking the books and hiding a percentage of revenue the team made, keeping the money in house rather than it being given to the NFL for league-wide distribution.

Can't remember if it was this case that the United States Congress was taking a look at or if it was the one regarding sexual harassment.

Snyder is exactly the kind of D-Bag I want to see in prison orange. he isn't making enough $$ with an NFL team that he has to pull $hit like this?

Why does he have to be a scum bag? He is a billionaire. This is tricky tack BS relatively speaking.

Makes you wonder how damn lucky he must have been to make those billions to begin with.
say what you will about him(and he has done a crapload of turdy things) but he appears to be self-made.

And, not but. Possibly thus, not but.

Not always the case, but sometimes, it's the turdy things that make you.
I have always told my kids that 1 scew up can erase 100 "attaboys" with people. This guy has hundreds of really turdy screw ups.

Also: How did he make his $?

With a quick lookup, looks like he started a marketing firm, grew it and eventually sold it.

He's owned the team since the 90s and its his main asset, His purchase was fairly leveraged and then required a debt exception from the league to buy out minority partners.

He doesn't seem to have the kind of wealth that most NFL owners have at their disposal and based on some actions in the last couple of years (suing fans for payment during COVID) may be struggling with the cash flow to service the debt.

Thanks! That would explain his asshole-ness. Doesn't justify it though. What a jerk.

You sort of answered your own question here.
Meh. I know a few really wealthy people (met thru hockey/friends since) and most of them were pretty cool with one exception that owned car dealerships. Story for a different thread.
