I'm going to try to start another game thread. The last 2 that I started ended in defeat. I felt that I brought bad luck by starting the game thread.

However, after further review, I do think that I have anything to do with the Patriots winning or losing a game. It's stupid of me to think that, right?

So, this is a game that the Patriots have a good chance to win, if the OL blocks, AVP calls a good game, no turnovers, no stupid penalties, no dropped balls by the receivers, if we can stop the run, and not give up any TD's through the air.
That should do it.

There's a lot to watch in this one.
#1 Draft pick vs #3
Da Bears 3 top OT's are out, so Blitzing should be done early and often. IMO

I'm looking forward to this game as this appears to be a winnable game on paper. Also the whole Williams versus Maye angle.

Can the Pats take advantage of the Bears' patchup OL? I feel that'll determine if the game can be won or not.

I would love to see Maye not have to run as much, but if he does I hope the coaches emphasize him sliding.

And for the love of god, attempt to establish the run! Last game Pats bailed on the run so quick it put all the pressure on Maye to attempt to win the game by himself. It didn't work out, although it was a valiant effort.

Yes, this is a game where having Uche and Judon would be nice. But at least we have a 6th rounder in 2034! Can it rush the passer?
But their OT's are still better than ours.
Probably true, but they don't line up against each other. Our DEs and OLBs aren't terrible. Keion White has the opportunity to have himself a game. Can he play with some of the restraint and discipline we saw from him last year and still come with it, or is he going to commence with the flashy but often selfish and/or out of control play that has characterized him this year?
