I had a Timneh Parrot named Micky. Incredibly smart and loving. One day my stepson called my mother just as we were picking up his sisters to report that he found Micky dead. My ex absolutely lost her
Mind. Complete devastated… We have no idea what happened, but we suspected he may have died of a heart attack.
 
I have told each one of my birds they are not allowed to die before my husband and I they're just not because I know it's not good.

I started rescuing birds in 1998. In that time there has been losses. There's some I can't talk about without crying. But my most devastating time was when I lost four birds in one night because of the city. Hubby said he heard me from the cars and he thought I had lost a family member. I had, four times over. I just hope we gave them a deserved and better life than their first owner.. I miss my boys.
