I wonder why now? And if it's salary cap related since they've already blown so much load on day one of FA..

either Ben Brown, or Strange I suppose. Unless the draft or FA or camp cuts produces someone.

I was referring to 2023 fourth round draft pick Jake Andrews. He was on IR all last year.
While I understand it from a performance perspective it's never easy to lose such a lovable player. Locker room presence. Leader and a champion.

Yep, he's got a red jacket waiting for him when he hangs it up.
It was pretty sad watching him play before he got hurt again, to be honest. I wonder if he retires or tries to hook on somewhere else.

Injury prone lately, health issues, age, etc.
He was pretty good for being undrafted. Great leader.
Apparently he was told that he was going to be released a while ago.
Very sad to hear this. He was a great player and leader for us. Another great Southern boy for the Patriots.
David is the type of guy that we all want to see make it. Undrafted and a little undersized but worked hard and became a starter and leader in the middle of the line where things get a little nasty at times. And by all accounts a really good guy off the field.
