Patriots HOFer Kevin Faulk says "Hi!"Hard no. I love what he did, but if we're watering down the Pats Hall that much, make sure you have Jonas Grey on speed dial.

Faulk was better for longer than Butler. I have no bad feeling towards Butler, but he didn't do enough to get a red jacket. I LOVED how he played for a very short time, but no way he deserves the jacket.Patriots HOFer Kevin Faulk says "Hi!"
Agree. But forever in the conversation for greatest play in SB History.Faulk was better for longer than Butler. I have no bad feeling towards Butler, but he didn't do enough to get a red jacket. I LOVED how he played for a very short time, but no way he deserves the jacket.
I don't even put it in the conversation.Agree. But forever in the conversation for greatest play in SB History.
I am not dying on any hill over this because I am not necessarily of the belief he will ever get in anyway. But his play was every bit as iconic as "The Catch" and "The Immaculate Reception" in terms of all-time NFL lore. And he followed that up a Pro Bowl nod the next year, and then followed up his PB season as a 2nd-team All Pro. This guy was not David Tyree, he was more than a flash in the pan.Faulk was better for longer than Butler. I have no bad feeling towards Butler, but he didn't do enough to get a red jacket. And certainly as deserving as the cheerleader coach that is apparently in the Patriots HOF.I am not dying on any hill over this because I am not necessarily of the belief he will ever get in anyway. He is as deserving as a player like Kevin Faulk.
Pete Carroll makes more sense…Here's another one that I got to thinking about for the Patriots HOF. Malcolm Butler. Yes or no? He had a pretty short run with the Patriots but was generally considered a great player during that run. He also had a tremendous impact on the Patriots. Without him, they have one less Lombardi.![]()
