He'll get suspended more when he inevitably gets banged up on Chivas and tweets a dick pic at some point during his current suspension. This guy is an idiot and can't help himself.

That's just silly. What Irsay did had zero to do with anything on the field or any firm if competitive balance. You want to hit him for more $$$, fine but there's no reason to pull draft picks.

This is just silly. There was nothing involved with competitive balance here to warrant that.

Ehhh id say its a bit more than a speeding ticket. It's also ten times the normal fine a player would face for similar offense.

Obviously I'm not going to see Irsay out on a 465 on ramp begging for cash but half a million is still half a million.

And it's certainly "tangible."

I can think of another time when a 1st rounder was taken away from a team without proof that it effected the competitive balance. In fact, King Roger Goodell stated that it did not give a competitive advantage.

So call me silly if you want but a lesson to other owners would be to take the draft pick. Just like it was said by King Roger that taking the other pick was a signal to other teams to obey his directives.

Yes, I'll say it again. The Colts should have lost a draft pick. The Lounge Lizard got off with link being taken off one of his gold chains.
 
Unless Irsay was driving his highlander around the sidelines on gameday, the two incidents have absolutely zero in common.

That's a sad story and fills in a lot of blanks that I'd wondered about from just reading his incoherent tweets and seeing his physical decline.

I hope he gets himself cleaned up for good, but it was still surprising to read of the extent to which he was abusing drugs.

As far as his relationships with women-- I don't care. I don't know enough from reading that article to draw any conclusions and it's none of my business anyhow.
 
To be fair, I bet Cincy fans and Irsay both have trouble recalling their team's last playoff victory. :coffee:
