Irving Fryar

in searching for more information on the fryar case i came across this little gem, so i guess something good came out of this

You will never convince me that Fryar wasn't involved in helping to "throw" the National Championship Game when Nebraska lost on a 2 pt conversion attempt against the Miami Hurricanes.

I think there is a lot more of this kinda thing going on than we realize.

I also believed Jamelle Holieway wasn't on the up and up when the Sooners played Clemson in the Citris Bowl (pretty sure it was the Citris Bowl) around that time too. One play that sticks out in my mind was a play from the 2 yard line. He took the snap and then pulled the ball away from Lydal Carr on the first option. Carr went crashing into the endzone and Holieway tried to go around the end... changed direction a few times... and ended up getting tackled back around the 20 yard line. Just never seemed legit to me.....

Anyway... I'd bet my mortgage Fryar was involved in something similarly.

While I am OK with Fryer going to jail for his misdeeds it still bothers me that the REAL mortgage scammers are retired on private islands in the Caribbean. Hopefully Joaquin took out the palaces of a few of these assclowns.

So, you're saying that Irving's only a small slice of the blame pie?

Not necessarily, I don't know much about his individual case.

I do know that a lot of "legitimate" mortgage originators and brokers where doing and encouraging a lot of shady shit.

It's probably a good guess, if you're just taking a stab at it.
