IT’S VRABEL!!!!

I wonder what it says about me that my 2 favorite patriots ever were considered major douchebags and they really are salty assholes. I don't dispute that whatsoever .a couple of my guy friends are kind of like them .they're just assholes but the kind of assholes I like .just that kind of screws with you all the time.

I'm very happy with Vrabel. This team needs strong leadership and he will provide that just like Bill did.
Although he's not from the Belichick coaching tree, he most certainly learned and appreciated Bill's method of coaching and discipline.

I also expect some beneficial changes in the way the personnel department and Vrabel interact, including the faint possibility of a real GM above Wolf.

Andrew Callahan (think it was him) reported that Wolf said he prefers scouting to the GM role.

Beautiful now we can put the Mayo “era” behind us and move on!

how do you think Vrabel dealt w/ Robyn Glaser sitting in on his contract negotiations?

and more importantly, how to you think he will take to her being his Senior Advisor as HC of NEP
:rofl:

Guess you fit in here…

Glad this happened today, leaving for the airport in 4hrs and I don't want to be following this while in Europe! Will be interesting to see what gets done with the staff before I get back.
I'd be interested find out what the Europeans feel about this hiring. Young French or Swedish women must have strong feelings.

Vrabel and Cowden go back, way beyond AJ Brown's trade. Cowden took Vrabel's side in that stupidness. He was the Titans' Interim GM after Robinson was fired in '22.
Cowden has already been added, btw. It's already in wikipedia.

Tennessee Titans (2016–2022)
-Director of player personnel (2016–2017)
-Vice president of player personnel (2018–2022)
-Interim general manager (2022)
New York Giants (2023–2024) Executive advisor to the general manager
New England Patriots (2025–present) Front office advisor (temporary title for now)

You like friends with a sharp wit and benefits to boot?

I just hope that now, some 16 years later, we can finally have some healing from the deep emotional scaring when he was traded to the Chiefs. Paranoid Patriot posted this poll and it's obvious we were in a lot of pain. Let the healing process begin.

I apologize if the wording of the pole offends anyone. I have grown as a person since then.

I guess I'll be the contrarian here and say I'm not happy about this at all. Will he be better than Mayo? Yeah, but an inanimate carbon rod would have been too. I just am not a big fan of his, and everyone saying he's this amazing coach when he was 54-45 in Tennessee is kinda strange.

But, I'll hope I turn out to be wrong. I'll happily eat plenty of crow if he brings us back to our former glory.

Consider he did that with an oft injured Ryan Tannehill at QB.

The Titans won 3 games in 2015. By 2017, Vrabel had them #1 in the AFC South with 11 wins, beat the Chiefs in KC in the Wildcard game, lost to the Pats in the Divisional game 35-14.
He chose good young OCs early:

2018 - Matt LaFleur -------> HC GB
2019 & 2020 - Arthur Smith --------> HC Falcons
