Last year, she took a larger role and was given the title of VP of Football Business and Special Advisor to the head coach when Mayo was named. She sat in on the interviews for the coordinator positions, and it feels like she might have been part of the financial issue in free agency. I also get the sense that she was more or less representing ownership and interfering in Football Operations.

Belichick has mentioned her in vague ways as interfering with his ability to do his job here, and I heard something about her talking to Belichick's assistants about Belichick.

But in other words, she was tapped by ownership to do more than cover the finer points of contracts and interfering in football operations.

Regarding 'final say'. Bill did not have final say since before the 2019 draft. He had strong input but final say was by collaboration and majority vote. Caserio headed up the draft in
2019 and 2020, when the collaborative was Caserio, Bill and Groh. Then in '21 it became Wolf, Groh and Bill. For '24 it was Wolf, Groh and Highsmith.

Hence that shot we saw a bill asking if everybody was in on Mac Jones. Wow thanks @chevss.
 
I think collaboration with BB does not mean the dictionary definition of collaboration.

As if Matt Groh( the substitute nephew) could convince BB that another player is the better option .
Devin Asiasi for example...
MG; He's pretty darn slow. Doesn't meet our measurables.
