The malpractice being....keeping Brady as long as he did? That's actually the only explanation to say "GM Malpractice" in this case.If that is actually true, I don’t believe it is then my original point stands - GM malpractice.

With apologizes to the Four Tops:2014 is not 2016. Drafting Garrapolo was the right move for any team that had a 37 year old QB. Brady didn't decline as expected. LETTING HIM GO was a Kraft/Brady production. I don't think Belichick was on board with trading him. But between 2016-2019, the entire structure of the team was pushing Brady's cap hit down the road - again, this is so undeniable, that it's amazing that anyone tries to pretend this isn't the case.
Brady's cap hit has nothing to do with drafting a QB for the future. Tampa drafted Trask in round 2 in Brady's second year coming off the SB win.2014 is not 2016. No, it had to do with massaging his ego, because he got Garropolo run out of town, with the help of Bob Kraft. You can't possibly be this intentionally blind to this, can you?Brady's cap hit has nothing to do with drafting a QB for the future. Oh please. Drafting Jimmy was Bill's best draft pick as it produced some of the best football of Brady's career. He thrives on competition. What happened is Brady outplayed Jimmy's window. We went to back to back SBs in 16 and 17, should have won both but Butler. It was a no brainer to keep Brady and trade Jimmy but Bill waited until midnight of the trade deadline when the Browns wanted Jimmy all spring. No, it had to do with massaging his ego, because he got Garropolo run out of town, with the help of Bob Kraft. He cared and cried about Garroppolo, so...yes.Oh please. Drafting Jimmy was Bill's best draft pick as it produced some of the best football of Brady's career. He thrives on competition. You really think Brady would have cared if Bill drafted another QB in round 2 or 3? Bill had drafted QBs his entire career every other year.
No, he didn't. He played the best football of his career after Jimmy was drafted. He cared and cried about Garroppolo, so...yes.

I don't see why any of that would prevent Bill from drafting a QB? Like I said, the Bucs drafted Trask in the second round the year after Brady won the SB. I mean Brady only ended up staying 2 more years anyway so drafting a young QB in 18 or 19 or 20 would have made perfect sense. GB didn't care what Favre or Rodgers felt when they drafted their replacements 3 years prior to them leaving. This again?
You know, both things can be true simultaneously.
The competition JimmyG provided did prompt Brady to elevate his game. At the same time Brady was definitely threatened by JimmyG. That has been widely reported and even Giz talked about it on the record. It is also true that Brady complained loudly and often to RKK about the threat Jimmy's presence caused him.
Do you have some sort of brain injury?I don't see why any of that would prevent Bill from drafting a QB? Like I said, the Bucs drafted Trask in the second round the year after Brady won the SB. Sorry but that is BS.Not many people are aware of this but JC Jackson is Michael Jackson's son.
I mean, they targeted Wade and Bryant mostly anyway, as to be expected. The defense only gave up 20 points, and Mac Jones gave up 14, so. All in all not a terrible effort from a decimated defense. They already miss Judon though, it was obvious.Soooooooo back to this thread "J.C. Jackson" - he actually looked ok out there yesterday. Just kinda slid right back in. It was a complete shit show but I noticed not much rust on JC out there
Not saying this is wrong, but he also acted like a spoiled child, crying about itNo, he didn't. He played the best football of his career after Jimmy was drafted.
Like Mac, but with talent…Not saying this is wrong, but he also acted like a spoiled child, crying about it
It was a joke.....Sorry but that is BS.
