James White Announces his Retirement

Ah s**t....I really loved watching him play and what an outstanding, loyal player he was! So tragic was happened to his family.

Happy retirement Jimmy Boy! And many thanks from us fans!

Kind of saw this coming, congratulations on a great career, happy trails!!!

I knew this announcement would likely come by the end of camp, and now that it's been made, and despite having braced for it, I am very sad.

He will be a Patriots HOFer in short time. 8 TD's in 12 career playoff games and was just as instrumental as Brady in the one that mattered the most. Hope you like the color red, James. Thanks for everything.

like others said, not surprised considering the injury he suffered last year.
Great player and a great person. will be missed.

So steady, so reliable, great hands and quick feet- one great Patriot and a tremendous human being.

Thank you so much James White and best wishes for the future - I know it will be wonderful for you.

Another Pats legend bites the dust due to injuries. Sad to see him go that way, but he will be remembered for his many contributions in key moments -- especially the game winning touchdown in the greatest comeback in SB history.

Happy trails, sweet feet. Forever Pats legend. See you in Pats' HOF induction.
