Kobe Minor CB pick 257 in the NFL Draft- Welcome to the Patriots

Mr. Irrelevant Cobee Bryant CB Kansas 6-0 180 4.5 40 time.
Don't know why he dropped so far. He was rated as a 4th round talent by several draft ratings.
I really have no idea how long his arms are, but I hope long enough.
Your mom thought he was long enough.... sorry couldn't resist :coffee:

Daniel Jeremiah said "There's a guy I didn't get to in my reviews ".

Good luck to him.

For me it was early in the draft when it was a case of "who's that".

Yeah. I don't bother with the folks beyond the 4th round unless I'm looking for a sleeper WR.

This is a sound strategy for looking at players picked in the later rounds.

The Wikipidea draft threads are useful for retrospective analysis. Here's the 2020 draft: 2020 NFL draft - Wikipedia

What you'll notice is that after the fourth round, there were a total of zero players who have made the Pro Bowl (Wikipedia uses the "bisque" color to denote Pro Bowlers).

Drafts from other years will have a couple of picks from rounds 5 and 6 in there. A team may get a solid player in the later rounds, but the odds are not in favor of that outcome. And it's not as if Pro Bowl status is any indication of all-time greatness; it's just an acknowledgement of having a pretty good year.

It's the UDFAs that have a better track record of success than the rounds 5 - 7 guys.
