Let's Talk About Brady, Shall We?

Fine, how would you rate Brady's performance the last two weeks?

I would rate it at 2-0.

-What are your explanations for the two INTs in the red zone? (And before you say "Offensive Line" he wasn't pressured on either one)

Sometimes, shit happens.

-Is it ok for any QB to turn the ball over 3 times in 2 games, and what should have been 5 times in two games?

If they win the games, sure.

Is there ever a possible scenario when anyone can say anything even remotely not-positive about the quarterback?

If that's what you enjoy doing during a 9-0 season.

-Is it ok to mention when the best QB who ever played has done some uncharacteristically dumb shit the last couple of weeks?

If you don't mind thinking back to doing the same thing last year and acknowledging that it ended in a Super Bowl victory.

-Is it ok to draw parallels to the last time when he was seeing ghosts in the pocket?

No.

-If that's not ok, is there ever a time when it is ok? Is there a form that needs to be filled out or something?

No.

-Is it fair to say that if Brady doesn't turn the ball over twice last week, that we're not all sitting there sweating out a 53-yard last-second field goal, followed by a Cal-Stanford play?

No.

What are the ground rules? I'll be happy to follow them. I'd like to note, I've said nothing about "replacing Brady" or "Brady sucks" at any point in this thread, nor have I intimated it.

No.

But it's not always "everyone else's fault". That's Peyton-era Colts fan shit. :coffee:

Most of the time.

Thanks for your honest answer, and not trying to couch the same answer with things I didn't say. Filed.

A dip in production is fine.

Turning the ball over in the 4th quarter and in the red zone is not fine. One's normal progression through the season, especially when it comes to an older QB. The other is mental mistakes. I can excuse him throwing the ball into the dirt at times. When it's every through, it's mental more than anything else.

That's my concern, and we've seen this movie before.

The cold weather is in combination with that. That will weigh on his physical skills, as it would on any player. That in and of itself is understandable. Throwing picks in the red zone, or your first pass of the final drive (which was thankfully dropped), or being careless with the ball is not ok from any QB.

But, I guess you can't even bring that up. All is well. Brady is perfect. Nothing is his fault. :coffee:

You're free to feel concerned offcourse, and it might even be you're right. I do however think you're putting way to much into this. Brady will be fine, but he won't look like a million bucks against the Bills either. It's gonna take time to adjust.

Tom Brady threw a bad pass in the red zone during the Super Bowl against the Panthers. Also in last years Superbowl he threw two really bad passes. One of Tom Brady's greatest attributes he has a very short memory.

Tom Brady is not going to the same Tom Brady without Julian Edelman and Dion Lewis. I suspect games from here on out will be a lot tighter. The greatest thing that I love about Tom Brady he can turn this shit sandwich into a prime rib meal with baked potato sour cream and butter and stir fried garlic broccoli. Translation is won with shitty wide receivers in the past...

Brady is obviously all washed up, I think we need to be honest with ourselves and start looking at Jimmy G. I mean lets face it, the New England Patriots they're not good anymore!

Seriously though, is there a way to forward this thread to Brady? I love watching him play when people doubt him.
