... its a lie. Brady didnt say that about our receivers last year, and you of all people should have checked on it.
He most certainly did. The whole interview is up on web.

To save you time, he is what Brady said:
"I don't have any trust that this guy can help us win the game. If you put him out there, I'm not going to throw him the ball."
[Later added when talking about Belichick], "He saw football in the same way I did. We saw the process of winning the same way." Evidently not, as Belichick put on the field the players he as HC/GM thought gave the Pats the best chance to win. Brady disagreed and in fact did refuse to throw to rookie receivers except in the Dallas game when all he had were rookie receivers.
You called Newton a selfish me-first player, yet here's what Cam said about the same receivers that Tom refused to throw to. Cam was asked if he thought the Pats should go after another WR, and he said:
“Man, I’ll say this, the answers are in that locker room. Simple and plain. We got Little Bud, Doughboy, Highway 11, and MyGerms. We good to go. Let me rewind that. We have Damiere Byrd, N’Keal Harry, Julian Edelman and Jakobi Meyers.”
Now you tell me which guy is a team player. Brady wanted to have a say in personnel and plays, and he wasn't getting it in 2018/19. That was more important than winning evidently.
Brady was the best for a long time, but not recently. Also in the Stern interview, Brady said he knew before the 2019 season began that it would be his last year, and it showed. He was in a pissy mood all year. The team was 8-0 and he bitched his way through the post-game presser. He screamed at his rookie WRs who were trying their best with a QB who wouldn't help them along.
Brady is still trying to be a coach, ragging on Ron Jones last game because he fumbled. Wouldn't that be the coaches job? Brady's job as a player is to say, "Don't worry, bud, we got this."
That's what Brady used to do, most famously with Corey Dillon. That was when he was TFB.
Youi've spent the last two months pissing and moaning about how bad Cam is as a player and a person. Time to give it up.
