Schedule never works out like it looks preseason.
By November all we'll hear is how easy it is.

Correct. If we are going to base it on last years stats, wouldn't the teams end up with the same w/l record. Except for NE because Jakobi is a Raiduh now.

No, plus there's something weird and circular about guessing how many games teams will win and taking those results to say how tough a schedule was. Doesn't the former determine the latter??????

Well, the Patriots will probably have a better record this season, than last season, since they have better coaching (offensively), a better receiver (and they'll probably have more (at least through the draft), more experienced quarterback (Mac Jones), and maybe a quicker safety than McCourty (I imagine he lost some speed, as he got a bit older). They still have a fine head coach. If the players play smart, they should be okay. So, I think a playoff game is quite possible for the Patriots this season.

This answer reeks of RKK not providing cash for signing bonuses again. Otherwise why say "I’ve said all I’m going to say.”?

I'm particularly interested in what he said about the new players to the team, especially OT Reiff.

I think that was a key reason for the signing, that he can be almost an auxiliary coach and can mentor guys like Dr. Strange and others. Everyone raves about his lockerroom presence.
