In my opinion it takes 3 full years to know if most quarterbacks are going to be developing into future greatness. the first year no one has figured them out yet and they have the advantage of surprise. second year they have to adjust to being adjusted to. third year is when they come into their own and you usually know how good they're gonna beExactly.

A solid stretch or a good rookie season doesn't mean much unless he continues to show improvement as he goes.
I feel he has been better than expected, but he's still making rookie mistakes in key situations.
