Looking at the Patriots 2024

I didn't like trading Judon but sometimes you've got to be there in person to know what's really going on behind the scenes.
Besides a 3rd round pick next year is a pretty good return.
Judon has 1.5 sacks, 2 tackles for loss and only 3 QB hits playing the majority of snaps for Atlanta.

If dugger could bring a second round pick or even 3rd…… I’m ok with it. He’s good, but safety isn’t exactly a premium position.

It continues to amaze me that we simply do not have any WRs of note. All these years, the drafts, the cap space, and we do not have a single dog out wide. The ones we have are so mediocre, which is to be generous, to be frank. They need to be wide-open with no defenders around them to even think about catching and even then, it's 50-50 if they catch it. We now have the QB but it has made no real difference to this WR corp, they are that bad. Like the O Line, it's a truly damning indictment on the Krafts and personnel and Mayo and co.

While this is true, AVP could do a whole lot better with more imaginative play design. Where's the motion to help them get open quicker, where are the rubs against man
and where are the trailing receivers that are always wide open against zone coverages? 1 guy can't cover 2 receivers in the same zone! AVP's play design is failing the receivers, imo.

One of the reasons that the transition between cowher and tomlin went pretty well is because Tomlin was either told(i believe it's this) or decided to keep both very experienced coordinators. so he as a very inexperienced coach had them to lean on so that he could concentrate on head coach duties. From the beginning I have absolutely hated the fact that Mayo had so little experience with anything and yet has 2 play callers who have never called plays.it's idiocy.

I’m not quite sure how much I agree. I think that our WRs would be competent enough if our O-line could give Maye any time at all. Bourne and Pop get open just fine, and Boutte clearly can as well.

Douglas could be a decent complimentary WR, but the rest of them are “EH…”

Is It time to see what Baker can do ?

Blame Kraft for the messy divorce. Had it been different maybe we'd still have Stevie B calling plays instead of Covington on defense.

AVP is another story, though. At this point I don't know if he's incompetent or how limited he is due to the roster. Either way the offense lacks creativity and is clearly one of the worst in the league.
