I agree. There is enough blame to go around, the OL, the OC, Drake, Trev missing holes. I don't know how Campbell can be blamed for everything. I'm not his lawyer.
But if he was the only problem or taking him out would have made the others better, then he should have been benched. Lowe would have been a bigger disaster. Why does he " deserve thorough scrutiny" and not others?
Anyway, I thought that this thread was about the 2026 team. There has been plenty of venting on other threads.

For TE, I'm not sure we could get anything better than Hooper, or maybe Henry for even the same money, let alone less.

Hooper, I'd keep, he's worth the money.

Henry, IDK. Base salary + bonuses total $11,750 mil. Pats would only be responsible for $2.5 mil. Could be sign someone sure to be better for $9 mil? Probably. If something better shows up the first few days of FA, make the switch. If not....

Westover/Lampe/Dippre are all ERFA so keeping all on the 90-man roster and let 'em duke it out in tc makes sense to me.

I'm not happy at all the way some of these injuries have been handled. Drake, Campbell, I'm not being a conspiracy theorist here and I'm not a doctor so I'm not going off 100% facts here, but what we see with our eyes is Campbell was clearly not right post-injury and Drake's injury was more serious that we were told.

We as fans do not have the right to know injury details. All teams will give out the bare minimum amount of information required by the NFL.
This is not the first or last time we are going to find out injury information after the season is over.
Right now we have not been given any information by the team. We have been given some leaks by the media. We may or may not get this information from the team or directly from the players sometime in the near future.

In that case, the coaches knew his knee injury was still a problem. That doesn't explain why he wasn't given more help in the SB, though. In fact, it makes it worse.
That was shocking to me.
Going forward, it does mean the Pats don't feel a need to get another tackle. I'll trust the coaches on that one. I mean, Campbell did play better before his injury and the
coaches think he's good enough when healthy. I hope so.
 
To think I was worried about the injury to that sixth offensive lineman they usually use not realizing that they were never going to actually use him in this game or if they did,it was very sparse, and I didn't catch it.
