Looking at the Patriots 2026 - Iron Sharpens Iron

Okay, that makes 2 patriots games. I can't watch on tv so far cause i'm sure the wednesday night one will be on a pay channel just like the t.N f

The NFL season opener is always on NBC.

I like that they're getting this trip to Seattle right away. The lead time up to and the post game time helps alleviate mid-season travel concerns, especially considering that they have another cross country trip against the Chargers.

That's why I buy NFL+ premium.
Here's the thing:some people my age will complain about stuff not being on free tv anymore. I get that everything is pay now. My problem is, i'm paying directv a bunch of money partially because I could get sunday ticket on it.Well, now you can't get sunday ticket on it.So now you have to buy a bunch of streaming subscriptions just to get to watch games. and I also like to record the games so can't do that anymore either because those streaming channels don't have d v r capability. I'm not buying youtube, paramount, and all that other stuff. It's ridiculous.

The patriots are in the top three or four this year of flight miles. that is definitely a concern.

Had a hunch Pats- Bears would be a national game.

Me and some friends are thinking about going to that one. Thursday makes it a little tricky but then opens up going to a College game on Sat. Michigan isn't too far and one of the friends likes them.

Actually kind of turned into a kind of crappy schedule for a fan. At home we only get 3 of the first 8 when the weather should be best. And two January games.

Then on the road we got stuck with another teams banner game, an international game, Jax in September sux for heat, KC in December is kinda cold.

Putting Kansas City down as a loss is very 2024 thinking.
I see nothing from that team that tells me they're not going to suck again this year.

I agree with you. Maybe they won't suck but they're not a dynasty anymore, for sure.

Patriots might get off to rough start. After getting the easiest schedule in the NFL last year, the Patriots will be getting an early reality check in 2026. Their first four opponents have a combined strength of schedule of .721, which is the highest any team has faced in the first four weeks in 40 years (1986 Eagles). To make things worse, the Patriots will have to play three of their first four games on the road (at Seahawks, Steelers, at Jaguars, at Bills). The Patriots' first three games are against teams that won their division last year, making New England the first team in six years (2019 Dolphins) to open a season with games against three straight division winners from the prior season.

I expect a 1-3 record after those first 4 games. I still come up with at least 10 wins.
