Looking at the Patriots 2026 - Iron Sharpens Iron

The only knock you can place on this Pats team is depth. Specifically on the defensive front 7. TE as well, but they can find a jag there before the season and it’ll go a long way.
I know everyone here loves Campbell……..I’ve got huge doubts as to whether he can be anything better than average as a starting LT. Against true stud pass rushers he will always be a liability. For the duration of his career. He will not improve against top end talent.
Drake is a top five QB, he may even be better outside of bad weather games, and he’s got weapons at least for a season and a half until AJ hits the wall…… and he will. For this season I’ll enjoy the sugar rush.
QB and coaching are what matters and the Pats have each.
Lamar is so overrated it’s unbelievable.
Brady I think will be a good coach. Eventually the hits will catch up with Allen. For now he’s good enough by himself to win any game no matter who his supporting cast is. They match up against the Pats defense well, compared to say a team like the bengals, just because there’s no one or two guys you’ve to stop. Allen can make you pay with his 5th option. They still have talent on the oline despite losing some guys.
It’s going to be a coin flip on the Pats Bills games. Should be the most exciting the division has seen in a long time.

Derek Stingley became the first cornerback in Texans history to earn first-team All-Pro in 2024. He repeated that honor after an outstanding 2025 season.

“I know a lot of people haven’t done it,” Stingley said last month, via Aaron Wilson of KPRC. “So, it’s cool to be one of those people.”

Stingley, 25, has come a long way since the Texans used the third overall pick on him in 2022. A hamstring injury limited him to nine games in his rookie season, and the Texans were questioned for not drafting Sauce Gardner, who went fourth overall to the Jets. Gardner made All-Pro in his rookie season and earned Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.

Three years later, Stingley ranks among the best cornerbacks in the league . . . and is paid like it.

Stingley, who signed a three-year, $90 million contract with the Texans in the 2025 offseason, said he improved this offseason. That has him believing that 2026 will be even better than 2025 when he totaled 36 tackles, 15 passes defensed and four interceptions.

What's the $$$ for Gonzo ?

Stingley is one of the few who might be better.

It took Jules 4 years to be a good route runner. This is Kyle Williams' 2nd year. He'll be better but he won't be a finished product yet.
I expect some flashes and to see good overall improvement from him this year.

Williams won't shine until he gets his intermediate routes in order as well as a good hitch/stop & go. But those intermediate crossers & drag routes will be deadly for him if he nails them. He has real solid speed out of his cut step, and he'll drive LBs and safeties insane bringing that across the field at a full sprint.
