After going to a few practices this summer I think the Patriots are going to be a damn good team this year and better than I thought they would be.

I love how the players are buying in and performing over expectations. Maye has emerged as a legit leader. Raridon and Jacas show terrific ability and just need snaps to gain experience.
Diggs had over 1000 yds last year playing less than 600 snaps (55% of plays). Imagine Brown's success this year in a similar role but playing 15-20% more plays. This WR room is really good.

The season can't start soon enough.

For me it all starts and ends with Campbell and from my eye he looks better than last year.

Wether he truly reaches the level you'd hope out of a 4th overall still remains to be seen but I have no questions that when healthy he's a really good left tackle ten year starter.

So I think the line will be fine.

If AVT fits in and is healthy, Wilson makes the transition to center, and Big Mike and Moses play the same as they have for years then this should be way better than just fine possibly a real strength.

At a minimum I think it's slightly better than last year.
 
PFF ranks our OL 13th in the league based on last year and the additions.
Not bad and it should get better as they learn to play together.

I am excited for this season. Lets keep DM upright and clean and he will make the run game easier on the OL. Then watch out.

Patriots sign RB Hassan Haskins​

The Patriots made a change to their running back group on Wednesday.

They announced the signing of Hassan Haskins to the active roster. Myles Montgomery was waived with an injury designation in a corresponding move.

Haskins’s last game in the NFL came against the Patriots as he was a member of the Chargers in their playoff loss in New England last season. Haskins spent the last two seasons playing for his college coach Jim Harbaugh in Los Angeles and ran 51 times for 136 yards and two touchdowns.

The Titans drafted Haskins in the fourth round in 2022 when Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was still in Tennessee. He ran 25 times for 93 yards as a rookie, but spent the 2023 season on injured reserve.

Haskins has had a few good games from what I can remember.

Based on Vrabels comments he's out awhile but sounds like he could be a candidate for one of the 2 training camp spots that can be designated to return.


It also sounded like he thought Ben Brown's injury wasn't too bad.

Vrabel just announced Brown is out for the rest of the pre season
