I can't speak for you guys, but as for myself, I am getting totally jazzed about our coming season. There are all kinds of new moving parts that can prove their mettle or plotz, but we won't know until the first kickoff. The Seahawks opener is one not to be missed. We have something to prove and don't you know they are just dying to kick sand in our face. :patslogo26:

Well, I'd say our offense is much better, not so sure about the defense though. Improvements in the backfield are offset by losses in the front seven. Time will tell.

Plus…… this is an outstanding coaching staff. Some of these little known guys will step up with this staff.
Depth was an issue last year, the coaches and Drakes improvement made up for it. Now the roster is better, and drake plus the other guys have had another year with these coaches.

Our front 7 wasn't dependable to stop the run or rush the passer last year and it's possible there's some regression this year with the new guys in town, so your view is
perfectly reasonable. I'd like to have Chaisson back but not at the $12M/ he signed for in Washington. Something else to consider about him is he's on his 5th team in 7 years. Why?
I'd like to have Tonga back but, fact is, we weren't strong up the middle with him in there last year, so what's the point.
We'll find out soon enough if Dre'Mont Jones can play and if Ponder and Durden really have improved as much as reports indicate.
Jones and Ponder figure to be able to set the edge better than last year's guys.

“Video During Kicks — All video and ribbon boards must show either a static image (e.g., no flashing images, blinking effects, moving text/images, etc.) or an All-22 view (e.g., high sideline, high end zone, etc.) during field goal attempts and extra-point attempts. Any flashing, moving, or blinking text/images displayed on video boards or ribbon boards during field goal attempts and extra points are considered a violation of this policy. The prohibition will begin when the kicking team reaches the line of scrimmage and continues through the signal by the Game Officials following the kick.”

And while former Patriots rules and strategy savant Ernie Adams relishes the perception that it was another stroke of genius (“f nothing else,” Adams told Volin, “we are deep into other people’s heads many years later”), the truth (as we understand it) is that the idea emerged innocuously: Former Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski didn’t like seeing an image of himself on the board before he attempted a kick.

In regards to a "blinking video " any time you take a video of a video it always looks like it's blinking.
Something to do with frame rate speeds.

In other words, Ernie is right.
