Multiple Explosions Rock the Marathon

Early reports just moments ago indicate at least 2 explosions in quick succession occurred near the finish line. Dozens of people are injured. The situation is unfolding rapidly. Marathon Hdqtrs is in lockdown.

No link yet, but listening to the radio. Reports are that there were two explosions, and quite a lot of blood.

What is this world coming to, on such a traditionally amazing, fulfilling day.

WBZ reports there was one explosion at Marathon Sports, and one further down Boylston toward Mass. Ave.

Runners were knocked down by the powerful explosions. People lay in the streets. Limbs blown off.

BPD is conducting a street sweep to find the sick ppl involved.

Another device has been found in front of the Mandarin Hotel.

Reporting people are missing limbs. This is just sickeningly sad.

Police are reporting the explosions contained pieces of shrapnel that injured many ppl. At least 3 children were injured. Several amputations occurred.
 
Police officer near Boston Marathon finish line: 'There are secondary devices that have been found and are unexploded.'

Public Library reported to have had 2 incendiary devices. Police are looking for a truck believed to be involved.
 
How horrible. The people who do this have no soul. Praying now for the victims.
