I wasn't a fan of the Pro Bowl but I feel bad for the fans who enjoy it. Probably lots of young fans. I hope by "engaging activities" they mean they're bringing back the skill competition.

Dan Patrick: Give me the sporting event you would actually like to streak in.

Will Ferrell: The Pro Bowl. It's the height of sports majesty. The pageantry, the half-empty stadium...I love it.

They'll probably still pick the team, they just won't play. Contract incentives, ya know.

Apocalypse now one of my very favorite Movies (Cause I love the smell of napalm in the morning) And based on Conrad's brilliant masterpiece, Heart of Darkness.,

Have you seen the Director's cut version?

It adds 20+ minutes but in a very weird way makes it seem faster.

The scenes added are them meeting up with the playboy bunnies who flew out of their USO show and the French colonial hold outs.

Yes. It's ok. Definately noticed differences, Didn't notice a sense of time difference. . Great movie any way you look at it.

Cheers

Dont care if the game isn't played this year... however, I don't want the league to scrap it... I want to go to a Pro Bowl ... preferably in Hawaii, though thats not really an option anymore... one of the two games I want to see... The Pro Bowl & the Canton Game... Pretty sure the Pats will be playing in that one 5yrs after 12 finally does hang up his cleats...

'The game will be replaced by a variety of engaging activities'. I propose one of those activities to be Goodell in a dunk tank visiting each NE state.
Pretty please?

Lol!!!

If I made it to Hawaii, the thought of sitting in the stands and eating up 4-6 hrs it takes to take in an NFL experience would be less enticing than jumping out the open helicopter door on an aerial tour of the islands.

But to each their own.

have been to hawaii before... losing one day for a football game wouldn't be so bad... besides, no one says you gotta stay for all four quarters... have been to every other type of NFL game... preseason, regular season home & away, division & conference championship games, super bowls ... never been to the pro bowl... that's basically the only reason... no burning desire to go, but it would be nice just to say i've been there...
