Nostalgic Music Thread

I've recently become friends with a former meber of the Dave Matthews Band, online playing Fallout together.

It's cool that he busts out the guitar and plays just for the Hell of it sometimes.

I don't have the heart to tell him that I don't like Dave Matthews Band. It's not the music, it's the vocals I don't like. His voice just grates on me for some reason.

Former guitarist?
There are no former guitarists of the main band. Perhaps guys who played as a guest, but the original five were a bassist, violinist, drummer, sax/wind musician, and Dave, the main guitarist.
Love the bands. Phenomenal lyrics, UNIQUE guitar playing. I get what you say about Dave’s voice, but I personally enjoy it.

There are several, actually that often played live, I guess. My guy was one of them, but guitar wasn't his main role. He was mainly a songwriter and keyboardist, but he plays guitar.

He could be lying, I don't think so. He and Mrs. Baron had a long, long talk about being on tour.

Keyboard? Was it Butch Taylor? I’ve seen him live with DMB quite a bit.

Yeah, they’ve often had other musicians who have joined them on live tours. Several sax players, often a keyboardist, etc.

No.

One of the guys that replaced him. There were a number of them, but no full time keyboard guys. They sort of replaced that position with a few part timers that could play keyboard as well as other instruments.
