Nostalgic Music Thread

I don't have a lot of skill in music, and it has always amazed me that sometimes a singer/songwriter will create a song and do a pretty good job with it, and then another artist will come along with a cover that raises the song to another level.

I don't understand it, but I very much enjoy it when it happens.

It's neat when that happens. Here's another great example.

Song: The Rest Of The Dream
Artist: The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

A nice cover of the John Hiatt classic, which I posted on this thread about four years ago (and it got noticed by Pneumonic then - it's always nice when people read your posts).

I prefer Hiatt's original take, but it was the NGDB version I heard first.

Song: Amnesia
Artist: Pousette-Dart Band

Back when I was listening to Aztec Two-Step a lot, I was also giving these guys their turn on the turntable.

I can't remember back to why I forgot to post this song for so long.

Here's a couple of songs that I always think about together.

Song: Baby Driver
Artist: Simon and Garfunkel

Song: Living In The USA
Artist: The Steve Miller Band
