Can CBS get out of the contract without paying him the rest ? I do hope Romo uses this opportunity to learn from his mistakes. Similar to Joe Namath after his infamous I want to kiss you to a reporter video .

By promoting JJ Watt so quickly to me that shows they Intend to get out of the contract with Romo.
His contract has to have a "morals clause".
Should be a good court case. (The winners of this arrest are the lawyers)

As "reported" He had an open container of beer.

Even If he never touched it, An open container gets you arrested 100% of the time.

And saying he was coming from a golf tournament wasn't a genius move.
If he had said I was just coming from a memorial for "old lady rottoncrotch" maybe he would have more credibility.

If he had only 1 beer...It was a 72 million dollar beer :jester:

Why risk it these days? In the era of just using a simple app to call a ride home, you don't even need physical cash on you. The risk is just so enormous. Even if you're not a Tony Romo on a $180M contract, for an ordinary person, getting arrested, banned from driving, your job likely at risk, it's never worth it.
