When talking the great running backs he must be mentioned. He does belong in that conversation.
As a track cat he took 6th in that NCAA 100 and indoor 60 and ran third leg on a world record 4x1 relay team.
Great in football, good in track.
As we know the Bills will be dropping him from their ROH which is understandable or is it? He was found innocent and is still in the Hall of Fame.
His 2003 yard season came in a 14 game season and he avged 6 yards a carry which is amazing. He is without question THE Buffalo Bill.

When the AFL first showed up in the early 60's the first 1000 yard rusher for the league was 250 pound fullback Cookie Gilchrist a Buffalo Bill. He was rather unique, having gone straight from high school to the CFL.
He had a pilots license and owned a plane, he couldn't understand why he couldn't fly himself to the games, ha~~~~
