Definitely a missed penalty.

I think what folks are trying to get across is if the DB gets his arms up and there's no contact before the ball gets there if he doesnt look back it's not a penalty.

Any contact after 5 yds with the ball in air is PI. Spot foul. No ball in flight is holding. 5 yds.
 
I could care less about face guarding or PI. Our team played like crap, like they were scared in the warm ups. Pathetic.

Nah. It's just that while Dan Campbell was busy working on a new wad of chaw and pissing his name into concrete, the Pats were practicing football fundamentals and game planning. :coffee:
 
For some odd reason, the game feed we were getting in the ship's sports lounge did not have the audio from the booth, but it had the audio from the field loud and clear. It felt a bit like I was in my normal seat. When Brady took the sack in the red zone and slammed the ball, we got Brady's "damn it" loud and clear.

There was a Fin fan that was perhaps 13-14 years of old. The pained expressions on his face were priceless and I took some perverse pleasure in watching him. But I also remeber how bad the Pats were when I was his age.
 
How did Parker get hurt? Heard he has a foot injury, though I don't remember seeing him on the field.

It seems like he knew it when he was down on the field. That sucks, hate seeing injuries like that.
 
Feel bad for Wake. He is one helluva player and can't recall him ever being nasty on or off the field.
I mean, I think he was wrong when he guaranteed a Dolphins playoff spot before the season started, but self confidence isn't something I can frown on.

i prefer he talk playoffs than to sit one his hands and get a participation trophy.

Too bad for him. He's due $10M next year so I expect he's played his last play for the Dolphins. At age 33 he might be done for good.

He strained ligaments in the same foot that had Sx last May. He should be back in 3-5 wks.
